I may or may not be a little bit in love with my english teacher.

I almost cried tears of joy when I saw the course outline.

We watched the episode HUSH of Buffy last week. When Willow and Tara were on screen she was all ”oh they’re totally going to be girlfriends later. Young love, it’s so cute.”

Next we are doing feminist retellings of fairy tales, Grim, perversion in retelling, and a lot of others amazing stuff. And we are going to watch ONCE UPON A TIME. I honestly don’t know how I got so lucky, I don’t remember a time when I was so excited to go to class. I can’t wait to be thursday, and I don’t even care anymore that I’m almost the only one talking in class.

Bonus: first semester we did a writing workshop and one time I wrote a story about a Zombie Apocalypse. She asked me if I watched The Walking Dead, and then told me she loved the show! Also she make little smileys on our copy when she like what we write.

If only all of our teachers could be that encouraging and interesting. -sigh-

Oh my gosh. I’m so insanely jealous right now, it’s not even funny. Where do you go to school, what is this class, how are you such an incredibly lucky person, and how can I get in on the deal?? I think I would die of happiness the moment the professor handed out the syllabus. <3

Ahah, I honestly don’t know how I got so lucky. I thought maybe it was Karma but then I remembered that I was not even a good person so… I’m just that lucky I guess. As for your other questions, you’d just have to come at my Uni in the east of France and i’m sure my teacher would welcome you with open arms. yeah she’s cool like that. She really is! She love art so much and try so hard to share this love with us ( and most people in my class are just ungrateful idiots so it’s not easy for her). I don’t even know what she’s doing here to be honest, she is a writer, she comes from the US actually, and she end up teaching english in a little university in France to uneducated brats. I’m not complaining but It feel like she’s wasting time here. Anyway did I already said that I was a bit in love with her, because I am ;)
